VISITOR'S VIEW
Bermudian hospitality
This was sent to Mr. Bruno Heeb, owner of Beethoven's Restaurant at the Clocktower Mall in Royal Naval Dockyard and copied to The Royal Gazette.

Dear Mr. Heeb,
Every time I come to Bermuda — and I have b been on the Island in excess of 30 times — my appreciation for the special brand of hospitality Bermudians offer increases.
And on July 4, it happened again because of your very able Paula. My wife and two sons and I had a pizza at your restaurant at about 12.30 p.m. and then rushed, with our cycles, to make the 1 p.m. ferry to Hamilton. But in our haste, I left my American Express card at the table.
Paula ran from the restaurant to the line for the ferry — and you know that is quite a distance — and tapped me on the shoulder and returned the card. What a relief! What a generous act! What hospitality!
Only in Bermuda!
As a frequent traveller, I see the level of service and caring and attention falling all over the world, but not in Bermuda.
Please thank Paula for me. And if you could let me know what charity might be Paula's favourite, I would like to make a modest donation in her name.
