Our beautiful people
December 3, 2008
Dear Sir,
We have been cruising between the USA and the Caribbean for the past eight years and always stop in Bermuda. Last year we had a problem and approached the tourist information centre in St George's (Café Latte) for advice. The owner (Mike) did not only give us advice, but helped us in his own time and at his own expense, and then would not accept any compensation. I have always found Bermudians extremely friendly, but this act of kindness was beyond belief.
This year due to a Visa situation, we could not continue onto the States so ended up in Bermuda for four months. We meet many great people, and through the expert guidance of Mike at the St. George's tourist board office, have seen all Bermuda has to offer us. We will return, not for the beauty of the Island, but because of the warm hospitable people, who make us wish Bermuda was our home. Beautiful places can be found anywhere in the world, but beautiful people are rare.
