Four stocks rise
With four rising stocks and no decliners the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange lifted 34 points (0.67 percent) to end the day at 5,108.31.
The biggest gain was recorded by Bermuda Commercial Bank as its shares improved in value by 75 cents (8.6 percent ) to reach $9.50 after 3,200 were traded.
Butterfield Bank also saw a slight improvement to its stock with shares going up 25 cents (0.4 percent) to $59.25 with a total of 6,631 exchanged.
In the utilities sector KeyTech shares improved 55 cents (3.7 percent) on the strength of 3,000 being traded. A total of 60 Belco shares were also exchanged but there was no change to the share price of $6.50.
Bermuda Aviation Services recorded a 20 cent improvement (3.2 percent) to reach $6.50 as 4,000 were traded.
The total number of shares exchanged on the BSX was 16,891, worth $495,344.
