Butterfield Bank Ltd. was the only issue to advance on The Royal Gazette Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday.

The Bank gained 25 cents (0.4 percent) to close on $59.25 after 2,641 shares traded.

The BSX Index gained 13.32 points (0.26 percent) to end the day on 5,125.70. Volume was 17,541 shares and turnover was $310,142.25.

Although no other shares changed value, some companies saw a lot of activity.

For example 9,500 shares of Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. changed hands, as the company remained at $6.50. And KeyTech Ltd. saw 3,200 of its shares trade as it closed on $15.55.

Insurer BF&M Ltd. remained at its 52-week high of $19.50 after 2,200 shares traded.
