BSX slightly down

The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange dropped 21.4 points (0.42 percent) over the course of last week to close out at 5,129.03.

The biggest movement was recorded by LOM Holdings, as its shares fell 20 cents (5.8 percent) to close at $3.25 on the strength of 500 being traded during the week.

It was a good week for Argus with its shares rising 45 cents (2.99 percent) to $15.50 after 1,697 were traded, while fellow insurance sector company BF&M lost 50 cents per share (2.56 percent) to $19 after 3,500 were exchanged.

Also moving down was Bermuda Aviation Services which lost 15 cents per share (2.31 percent) to close on $6.35 after 10,000 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank ended down 50 cents (0.84 percent) at $59.25 after a total of 119,871 shares were traded during the week.

The only other shares to see activity were those of KeyTech as 5,321 changed hands without affecting the closing price of $15.55.

The total number of local shares traded during the week was 140,915, representing a value of $7,383,303.
