Fulcrum appoints Mulhern
Hedge fund administrator Fulcrum Ltd. has appointed Chris Mulhern as managing director, Canada.
"Chris will deepen the management of Fulcrum's global operations, as he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge gained from his ten years with Citco Fund Services in a series of senior management roles," said Glenn Henderson, chief executive officer of Fulcrum. "He will take on the leadership of our fund administration operations in Canada as part of his role in assisting to fill in our existing client capacity."
Mr. Mulhern joins Fulcrum from Citco Fund Services, where he was most recently managing director of the Toronto office, overseeing 480 staff. He was with Citco in various positions for over ten years in Canada, New York, and San Francisco. Prior to this, he worked in public accounting.
As part of Fulcrum's global executive management team, Mr. Mulhern will have overall responsibility for the management, production and delivery of fund administration services to Fulcrum's hedge fund clients.
Mr. Mulhern will be in charge of overall management and supervision of the Canadian office and operations, including capacity planning and recruitment. Operating as Fulcrum Fund Administration Limited, the Canadian operations recently expanded to a long-term commitment of 14,000 square feet in a new office building in Waterloo, Ontario, which will ultimately house approximately 100 staff, mostly devoted to delivery of client fund administration services.
