BCB shares rise

The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange slipped 12.99 points (0.25 percent) to end at 5,141.62.The only shares that improved in price were those of Bermuda Commercial Bank, which announced it is in the final stages of talks with a buyer. The BCB shares improved 10 cents (1.1 percent) to close at $8.85 after 1,000 were traded.KeyTech shares declined 3.5 percent (55 cents) to $15 after 1,297 were exchanged.

The only shares that improved in price were those of Bermuda Commercial Bank, which announced it is in the final stages of talks with a buyer. The BCB shares improved 10 cents (1.1 percent) to close at $8.85 after 1,000 were traded.

KeyTech shares declined 3.5 percent (55 cents) to $15 after 1,297 were exchanged.

Another faller was BF&M which slipped five cents (0.3 percent) to $18.95 after 2,000 shares were traded.

Butterfield Bank shares were unmoved at $60 despite 27,123 changing hands.

The total number of shares traded on the index was 31,470, representing a value of $1,696,793.95.
