IT advisor Sbi fills six positions
After achieving record revenue growth in 2006, Systems Business Integration (Sbi) has filled six key positions to "ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and sustained financial performance for the company".
The company is an advisor to Bermuda's largest companies providing technology solutions to businesses and institutions on the Island including IT infrastructure, professional services, security, and networking.
Sbi said it is investing in resources to ensure customers' success with Citrix and Cisco systems and to that end has given extensive Cisco training to Bermudian Brian Doyle.
Its new appointments include Simon Whorral, who holds Citrix CCEA and Citrix CCA designations. Simon was previously working in the UK with Logica CMG, an International Consulting Firm, providing support to the law and financial services industries.
Senior project manager Wyndham Bennett has returned to his family home in Bermuda after working for ASG of Melbourne Australia, bringing over 18 years of experience in Information technology management.
Vivan Sailsman has been appointed service delivery manager. He returns to his wife's home to join Sbi. He has previously worked for Bell Canada.
Sales manager Michael Lethbridge was formerly with EMC Canada where he held the roles of account manager and financial district manager, and was a strong contributor for seven years and President's Club member.
Michael Hamilton is senior systems engineer. He previously worked for Bank of Bermuda/HSBC where he was a senior member of the Intel server team, providing support for over 300 globally distributed systems.
The final appointment is Cisco Systems engineer Dennis Morassut. He holds the Cisco CCDP and CCNP designations and comes to Sbi from Smart Systems for Health Agency of Ontario, Canada.
Robert Allen has been appointed vice-president of healthcare at Allied World Assurance Company's subsidiary Allied World Assurance Company (US) Inc.
He will oversee the underwriting and servicing of healthcare risks underwritten in the US. Mr. Allen brings with him 16 years of experience in the underwriting and placement of healthcare professional liability business.
The former president and CEO of Penn-American Group, Jon Saltzman has been appointed a director of Max Specialty Insurance Company, part of the Bermuda-registered Max Capital Group.
