The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange was closed yesterday in observance of the Bermuda Day holiday.

The exchange was due to reopen at 8.30 a.m. today.

On Wednesday the Index moved up 9.66 points (0.19 percent) to close at 5,151.01.

Belco shares added 55 cents (2.4 percent) to close at $23.80 after 2,900 shares were traded.

Bermuda Aviation Services lost five cents (0.8 percent) to close at $6.30 after 3,000 were exchanged.

There was no movement in the closing price of Butterfield Bank shares, although 978 were traded at $60.

The total volume of shares traded on Wednesday was 6,878 valued at $146,600.
