An exceptionally quiet day on the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange saw only 2,400 stocks traded and no shift in the index from its pre-holiday close of 5,148.17 points.

The two active stocks were in the banking sector with 1,300 shares of Butterfield Bank being traded but without altering the closing price of $60 and 1,100 shares of Bermuda Commercial Bank changing hands without changing the price of $9.50.

The total value of all shares traded was $88,450.
