Butterfield hits high

Although two stocks fell and one rose, the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange moved into positive territory with a 13.39 point (0.26 percent) advance to 5,160.27.
Butterfield Bank shares were the gainer, climbing to a new 52-week high of $60.50 after improving 50 cents (0.8 percent) with 8,600 units exchanged.
Argus Group lost 25 cents (1.6 percent) on its shares as 1,000 were traded, finishing at $15.
Also going down in value were Belco shares which ended 25 cents (1.1 percent) lower at $23.25 after 200 were exchanged.
The only other active shares were BF&M with 300 changing hands but not affecting the closing price of $18.50.
Total volume of shares traded on the index was 10,150, representing a value of $546,176.55
