$1m week for BSX
More than $1 million-worth of shares were traded on the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange last week, with the index rising a total 6.69 points (0.13 percent) over the five trading days to close at 5,152.56.
The biggest improver was West Hamilton with its stocks improving in value by $5 (7.69 percent) to close at a 52-week high of $70 after 4,500 were traded.
There was also a positive move for Butterfield Bank shares, going up 25 cents (0.4 percent) to $60.25 after 11,819 were exchanged during the week.
Losing ground were Belco shares which ended 50 cents (2.13 percent) lower at $23 after 562 were traded.
There was also activity for Argus Group and BF&M but no change to their price as of a week before.
The total volume of shares traded was 21,971, valued at $1,127,158.30.
