Motorists will be able to get their fuel from a new supplier in the centre of Hamilton from today.

The Royal Gazette has learnt that the Esso gas station in Richmond Road has changed hands to a new independent dealer.

The move is a significant one as Esso currently own 10 service stations in Bermuda, with rivals Shell, who have the most at 12 stations.

Mark Fields, general manager of Esso, refused to comment on the changeover, but staff told The Royal Gazette that a new dealer has taken over.
