BSX remains flat

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) was unable to replicate its record-breaking form of last week, dropping 0.20 points yesterday.
The Index slipped back to 5,180.84 after hitting a peak of 5,251.65 on Wednesday, with 32,871 shares traded and a turnover of $635,709.40.
The only company to experience a downturn was Devonshire Industries Ltd., whose share value fell by 25 cents (1.8 percent) from $13.90 to $13.75, trading 2,000 share in the process.
KeyTech Ltd traded the highest number of shares at 27,707, as their share price closed at $15, while Butterfield Bank finished on $61, with 3,154 shares traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, closed at 1,294.72, down 0.65 points.
