Bank of Bermuda customer Shirley Lyn Smith was yesterday presented with a laptop computer and accompanying bag after a winning a personal internet banking competition.

Every one of the more than 1,000 Bank of Bermuda customers who signed up for personal internet banking between March 19 and May 18 was eligible to enter. Ms Smith has been a customer of the Bank for some 23 years.

Richard Brown, the Bank's head of personal financial services, said: "This competition clearly drummed up interest in our new personal internet banking platform and I am pleased with the response to this initiative, which aimed to introduce branch clients to the ease of using personal internet banking."
