Dequincy relaunches new-look <a href="http://NakedTrader.com" target="_blank">NakedTrader.com</a> website
A Bermuda-based businesswoman has relaunched a financial trading website offering up-to-the-minute information on the markets.
Jill Dequincy, who runs derivative instrument company Armadillo, has set up the newly-revamped www.nakedtrader .com, which includes everything from daily webcasts, comments and views, market tools and news, as well as technical analysis, commentary and announcements.
Ms Dequincy, who has more than 30 years of experience working in the financial markets, formed the new website with business partners Tony LaPorta, Power Signals fund trader, and Justin Amato, technical analyst, with a focus towards market professionals such as financial institutions and prop houses. She believes its key selling point is that is provides the complete works, acting as a historical data source and offering the ability to trade.
"As far as I can see there is nothing like it as a package out there," she said.
"We have made its as simple as we can.
"I have webcasters from the floor of the CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) and others, as well as the Power Signals trading system.
"They like it because they get instant information from the trading floor about how the big trades have taken place (e.g. the options pit) and who is making the markets move (eg Goldman Sachs). This is the kind of information that trading arms of insurance companies and banks acquire that determines the movement and daily value of their portfolios."
