Not every company is shedding jobs - technology experts Independent Consulting Solutions/eVolution yesterday announced three additions to its team.Joel Balfour joins the company as a senior technical consultant. Mr Balfour holds a number of respected industry certifications such as the CCDP, CCNP, CCNA, CCVP and CCIE and is an experienced and proven Engineer given an impressive work history at Bell Canada and Cisco Systems Inc. Most recently, Joel worked at as a Senior Network Engineer with a local provider.Joel brings demanded expertise in the areas of network infrastructures, telephony, and voice networks. His professional engagements include works within the hospitality, public administration, insurance and financial services industries.Alvin Minglana has been hired as chief accountant and has fiscal responsibilities for the day-to-day accounting and reporting functions of the ICS and sister company Evolution. Mr Minlanga joined ICS from CACEIS Investor Services (Bermuda) Limited where he prepared NAV calculations for a pool of investment funds. Prior to CACEIS, Mr Minlanga served as a senior financial analyst at Ayala Businesscapes Group in The Philippines. Alvin holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.Glyn Hoskins Turner has rejoined ICS as a principal client relationship manager.Ms Hoskins Turner will seek to match the business needs of each client with modern technologies. She will focus on developing the company's core flagship Cloud computing product eVolution as well as advance and develop consulting relationships with our many valued partners and clients.Prior to joining ICS, Ms Hoskins Turner served as vice-president, business development with First Atlantic Commerce and in similar capacities with the Economist Intelligence Unit, Ford Motor Company and Reed Business Information.Steve Bull, chief operating officer of ICS (Bermuda) Ltd, said: “We are pleased to have attracted these talented individuals to the ICS team.
