ACE USA, a unit of Bermuda-based insurer ACE Ltd., has opened a branch office in Morristown, New Jersey.

Andrew Hurley, who most recently served as a practice leader in the commercial insurance specialty division of Chubb & Son Inc. ? a unit of Chubb Corp. ? has been appointed New Jersey branch manager to lead ACE's new location.

"We believe there are tremendous growth opportunities in New Jersey, and our new branch office will help us to better serve our brokers and clients in the state," John Alfieri, ACE USA's New York regional executive officer, said in a statement.
