Advertising agency Harris & Mitchell had the official receiver appointed as provisional liquidator - as no other liquidator had been appointed - on Friday in Supreme Court.
Chief Justice Austin Ward also ordered that the firm be "wound up".
The company - which was also known as the Really Good Communications Company - closed its doors earlier this year after more than 15 years in business. The firm was founded by Emma Mitchell and Sue Harris, with Ms Mitchell taking over the firm from the early 1990s.
