The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday dipped 4.24 points or 0.11 percent,as the Bank of Butterfield shares closed at $45.25.

Bank of Butterfield investors traded in 1,943 shares, while Belco Holdings Ltd. shares moved up 50 cents on volume of 100 shares to close at $41.

Argus Insurance Company gained 25 cents on volume of 1,345 shares to close at $27 and Bermuda Aviation Services traded in 800 shares to remain unchanged at $14.00.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $139,895.00 and the overall volume of shares was 4,188 to close at 3,770.30.
