Arlington Tankers' CFO resigns
Arlington Tankers has restructured its senior management following the resignation of the Bermuda-registered company?s chief financial officer Tara Railton, Lloyd?s List has reported.
Edward Terino, who has spent the last ten years as CFO of several publicly-traded US technology companies, has joined Arlington as co-chief executive and CFO.
He will be responsible for the company?s corporate development, financial management, investor relations and corporate governance.
Arlington?s president and chief executive Arthur Regan becomes co-chief executive with responsibility for commercial business development and marketing, and oversight of the operating contracts for the company?s tanker fleet.
Ms Railton has resigned as Arlington?s CFO to ?pursue other interests?, the company said.
Arlington also announced plans to open offices in Westport, Connecticut this month.
As a result of these changes, the company has become a US domestic issuer for Securities and Exchange Commission reporting purposes.
However, the registered offices for the company will remain in Bermuda.
Mr. Terino was most recently senior vice-president and CFO for Art Technology Group, an e-business software company.
