Bank opens international centre
Bank of Bermuda has officially launched the International Banking Centre to give customers access to a broad range of services offered by HSBC?s global network of offices.
The International Banking Centre will be an intermediary with any HSBC branch worldwide to help customers to set up additional bank accounts, either here or prior to moving abroad, help students going abroad to study or to facilitate a mortgage for a property overseas.
Located on the ground floor of Bank of Bermuda?s head office, the International Banking Centre will allow customers to set up bank accounts in 77 countries and 9,700 offices in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa
The Centre will have three dedicated staff members to help customers with account opening (saving, checking, fixed deposit), credit or debit applications and loan, mortgage and overdraft facilities.
Bank of Bermuda CEO Phil Butterfield said: ?This is a great example of how our affiliation with HSBC is directly improving and expanding the range of services we can provide our customers.?
