The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday advanced 10.41 points to 3,213.12.

Bermuda Container Line Ltd., which announced stron trading results and an extra dividend on Tuesday, rose $2 to $13 on volume of 2,566 shares.

Bermuda Commercial Bank saw the highest volume of trading yesterday with 9,700 shares changing hands at $8.

Butterfield Bank investors traded 424 shares at $40.80.
