Beasley and Stirling promoted
Appleby Hunter Bailhache has announced that Adrian Beasley and Jackie Stirling have been appointed as associates. They began their two-year training programme with the firm as pupils in September 2005, and were called to the Bar on October 27, 2006.
The pair will complete one more year of training in the firm?s core professional practice groups.
Mr. Beasley spent five summers at Appleby as a law student and was a two-time recipient of an Appleby bursary. He was born and raised in Bermuda and educated at Saltus Grammar School.
He graduated from the University of Kent with an LLB in 2004 and completed the College of Law?s legal practice course in 2005 and earned a postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice. Adrian also holds a BA in English Literature and Religious Studies from Mount Allison University (2001) in Canada.
Mr. Stirling is a graduate of the Manchester Metropolitan University School of Law in the UK, where he obtained a LLB (Hons) in 2004 and where he also completed the legal practice course in 2005.
Prior to studying law, he gained work experience with the Bermuda Police Service, was the owner of a small business and acted as the deputy manager of a family-operated local business.
