The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 11.60 yesterday to close at 4,441.04.

On a light day of trading, Belco was the only issue to advance, gaining $1.25 to close at $40 on volume of 926 shares.

BF&M Limited Rights fell 30 cents to close at 60 cents as investors traded in 10,000 shares.

Meanwhile Butterfield Bank traded in 320 shares to close unchanged at $57 and KeyTech Limited traded in 600 shares to close unchanged at $12.50.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $63,267.00 and the overall volume of shares was 1,855.
