A day after falling seven percent Belco shares rebounded by 7.5 percent on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, improving in value by $1.75 after 1,000 shares were traded on another quiet day for the Exchange.

Belco moved up to $25.00 a share as the Exchange added 32.18 points (0.65 percent) to close at 4,992.74 after a total of 4,891 shares valued at $228,287.50 changed hands.

Butterfield Bank shares remained active with 3,376 traded during the day, although there was no change in the closing price of $57.00.

The only other sector to report activity was in insurance shares where 15 shares of Argus Group Holdings were traded, with no effect on the price of $14.50 and 500 shares of BF&M Limited were exchanged at $18.50, again there was no change in the closing price.
