Benefits survey

Human resources managers can now tap into information from an annual Bermuda international company survey to ensure their benefits and compensation packages are in line with those at rival firms.

The Bermuda office of accounting services firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers is conducting its annual Bermuda International Business Compensation Survey to compile compensation data to enable firms to make ?discerning compensation decisions in a competitive, volatile marketplace?.

The survey of salary and benefits includes all forms of cash compensation, housing allowance, long-term incentive pensions, and more. It also reportedly provides insight into operational issues, compensation policies, expatriate and executive pay packages and emerging market trends.

For a $1,500 fee companies can sign up for a copy of the general report with data from all participants.

In addition, companies wanting to receive industry specific compensation information can sign up for the $5,000 report that analyses data by specific peer group, whether insurance/reinsurance, banking, or telecommunications.

Last year, the BIBC survey presented data from some 50 companies and more than 5,600 employees.

Questionnaires for the BIBC survey are to be distributed this weekend, with the completed forms to be returned June 15. The final reports will be available in September.
