Stepping into Supervision Level 1 - Rather than learning by trial and error recently appointed supervisors can take a new course offered by the Bermuda Employers' Council to help prepare them for a supervisory position. Instructor Laura Boyd-Brown will help participants acquire a practical understanding of a supervisory position and its responsibilities. Change can be challenging but a new course offered on June 21 by Bermuda Learning Solutions is designed to help companies navigate the speed bumps. "It Happens, How to Become Change Resilient - Dealing with Organisational Change" reviews the impact of change in the work place. The Bermuda Employers' Council is offering a course on advanced accounting and finance practices June 20-22. Beyond the Basics Intermediate Accounting Level 3 is taught by Bimal Shah and is will help employers understand how business decisions affect the profitability of their company. Advanced Financial and Managerial Accounting Level 4 will run at the BEC on June 23 and 24.
