Basics of Reinsurance with Henry Sutton on April 7. The Bermuda Insurance Institute seminar will introduce participants to the principles and functions of reinsurance. It will take participants through the basic concepts of reinsurance and its uses and will include a detailed discussion of the types of reinsurance that is available, its advantages and disadvantages. Consultation on Bermuda's Future Sustainability on April 8 from 5:30 -7:30pm. The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce session will feature Ross Andrews, Sustainable Development Project Co-ordinator and will focus on the long-term economic, environmental and social sustainability of Bermuda which is the subject of a project being led by the Cabinet Office's Central Policy Unit. Throughout the month of April, the Sustainable Development Project Team will be consulting widely with the public and this meeting is an opportunity for members of the Chamber to make their views known and engage in discussion about the long-term future of our island.
