The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 37.848 points to finish the week at 3,231.58.

The highest volume of trading last week was seen by Bermuda Commercial Bank with 9,700 shares changing hands at a price of $8.

Butterfield Bank investors bought and sold 4,070 shares while the share price gained 40 cents to finish the week at $41.

In the telecoms sector, KeyTech Ltd. shares gained 50 cents, moving up to $11.25 on trading of 5,222 shares.

And at Bermuda Container Line Ltd., 3,066 shares were traded while being pushed up $2, or 18 percent, to end the week at $13.
