BF&M Insurance yesterday announced that customers will be able to renew their motor insurance online and have the insurance certificate sent directly to TCD.

Previously, BF&M policyholders had to go to the company's office to collect proof of insurance and present the document to TCD before their vehicle could be relicensed.

The company also said customers will be able to review their existing insurance portfolio online and that additional online features would be introduced in the next few months.

BF&M began selling insurance online at www.bfm.bm last July, but the system did not transact renewals.
