BIBA gets new marketing manager
Susan V. Attride Stirling has joined the Bermuda International Business Association as its new marketing manager.
With almost 20 years experience in the marketing and development of financial services and products, she brings to the position a wealth of knowledge of the sector in general and Bermuda's financial services sector in particular.
Mrs. Stirling has held senior positions in sales at the Bank of Bermuda, and more recently the Bermuda Monetary Authority where she was Assistant Director, Policy, Research and Communications. Internationally, she's also held positions at the Vice-President, Marketing level for CIBCWood Gundy, ScotiaMcLeod and Prudential Securities.
Mrs. Stirling holds a B.Sc. and M.B.A.

Timothy Miller has been appointed as a partner and General Manager of the company of Lanier Business Products
Lanier, which has been in operation in Bermuda for more than 20 years, supplies and services photocopiers, fax machines, printers as well as a variety of voice dictation products for a wide variety of businesses on the Island.
Lanier Business Products stocks all Lanier products, these products are supplied and manufactured by Ricoh Company Ltd., the highly respected global manufacturer of office automation equipment and electronics.
A Bermudian, Mr. Miller has more than 20 years of experience working in the technology field both in Bermuda and overseas. He started his career at Cable and Wireless before moving to Quantum Communications, Global Crossing and finally working with TeleBermuda International.
He holds an engineering degree in telecommunications and electronics from the Cable and Wireless College. In his new role, Mr. Miller will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business taking over responsibilities from Tony Coleman, who is looking for greater flexibility in his schedule.

Bermudian Duncan Card has joined the Toronto office of Bennett Jones as a partner in its Corporate/Commercial group.
Mr. Card is nationally and internationally recognised as one of Canada's leading information technology, outsourcing, and e-Business lawyers. 2005 is his eighth year of inclusion in the prestigious ranking by ‘Lexpert' magazine and American Lawyer Media of the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, where he is cited in both the IT/Computer Law and Technology areas.
Mr. Card is also included in the inaugural ranking of Lexpert-Thomson's 2005 Guide To The Top 100 Canada-US Cross-Boarder Lawyers.
Mr. Card serves as a corporate director and board advisor to numerous national and multinational corporations and he is also a trustee of Queen's University. He is a sought after author and speaker on topics related to technology and outsourcing transactions.
Called to the Ontario and Bermuda Bars, Mr. Card graduated from the law schools of Queen's University and the London School of Economics, and he obtained his Masters in Law degree from the University of Toronto (1987).
