The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 24.30 points yesterday to close at 4,451.32.

On a light day of trading Butterfield Bank rose 50 cents to close at $57.50 as investors traded in 2,813 shares.

Argus traded in 48 shares to close unchanged at $14.15 and Bermuda Aviation Services traded in 1,000 and shares to close unchanged at $6.50.

Belco traded in 265 shares to close unchanged at $38.75 and 69 KeyTech shares changed hands to close unchanged at 13.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $180,063.75 and the overall volume of shares was 4,195 shares.
