BSX drops 24.46 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday fell 24.46 points to close at 4,426.52.On a quiet day on the Exchange, Butterfield Bank fell 50 cents to close at $57 as investors traded in 1,421 shares.The only other activity saw Belco trade in 1,000 shares to close unchanged at $38.75.The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX on Thursday was $119,747 and the overall volume of shares was 2,421.
