BSX drops 27.38 points for week
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 27.38 points last week to 2,769.75.
The Bank of Bermuda had the highest volume of trading over the week with 35,395 shares changing hands while its share price fell 50 cents to finish at $46.The Bank of NT Butterfield also saw its share price dip 50 cents last week to close at $33.50 while volume of trading stood at 9,064 shares.
Bermuda Commercial bank gained 25 cents to close on Friday at $7.25 and 6,500 shares changed hands during the week.
Masters Ltd. saw no change on its share price of $7 although 1,500 shares traded last week. And local insurer BF&M Ltd. posted a 50 cent loss to close at $12 while 3,000 shares moved.
The only other BSX listed company to see action last week was Island Press (Holdings) Ltd. as it gained 50 cents on its shares to close at $5.50 and with 2,401 shares trading.
