BSX drops as Butterfield, Belco fall

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday dipped 14.55 points, or 0.39 percent to close at 3,739.40.
The BSX had a quiet day as Bank of Butterfield lost 25 cents on volume of 516 shares and Belco Holdings Ltd. traded in 500 shares to close at $40 a decline of 25 cents.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $43,270.00 and the overall volume of shares was 1,016.
