The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday fell 11.57 points to 3,226.96.

Butterfield Bank saw a whopping 84,956 shares change hands yesterday while the price fell 15 cents to $40.85.

Meanwhile, Bermuda Commercial Bank closed unchanged at $8 on volume of 5,000.

Argus Insurance held at $25 on volume of 1,810 shares.
