BSX edges upwards

The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange inched slightly upwards yesterday in very quiet post-Christmas trading.
On a day when only two issues traded, the main activity surrounded Butterfield Bank, which closed unchanged at $56.50 after 1,530 of its shares changed hands.
Insurance company BF&M Ltd. was the only stock to advance, as it climbed 25 cents (1.4 percent) to close at $18 on the trading of 400 shares.
Shares with a value of $93,523.20 changed hands as the Index climbed 3.32 points to close at 4,881.99.
