The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 21.09 points yesterday to close at 4,923.75.

On a day of light trading, BF&M gained $1 to close at $16 as investors traded in 400 shares and Argus rose 25 cents to close at $14.50 on volume of 1,500 shares.

The only trading activity on the Exchange saw Butterfield Bank trade in 21,602 shares to close unchanged at $59.50.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $1,313,469.00 and the overall volume of shares was 23,502.
