The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday gained 8.36 points to close at 4,434.88.

On a quiet day of trading KeyTech was the only issue to advance as it rose 50 cents to close at $12.50 as investors traded in 600 shares.

Masters fell 75 cents to close at $19.25 on volume of 1,200 shares and Butterfield Bank traded in 400 shares to close unchanged at $57.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX on Thursday was $53,400.00 and the overall volume of shares was 2,200.
