The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 31.400 points last week to close at 4,449.03.

During a quiet week of trading Butterfield Bank rose 50 cents to close at $57.50 as investors traded in 6,436 shares to close at $57.50.

KeyTech also gained 50 cents to close at $13 on volume of 8,739 shares to close at $13.

Bermuda Commercial Bank fell 25 cents to close at $8.25 on volume of 300 shares and Bermuda Aviation Services fell 25 cents as 2,500 shares changed hands to close at $6.25.

Meanwhile Belco traded in 375 shares to close unchanged at $38.75.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX last week was $511,912.25 and the overall volume of shares was 18,448.
