The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday edged up 3.06 points, or 0.8 percent, as Bank of Butterfield shares remained unchanged at $45.50.

A quiet day on the BSX saw little trading activity as the only issue to change price was BF&M Ltd which fell 25 cents on volume of 1,500 shares to close at $16.50.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $24,759.00 and the overall volume of shares was 1,500 to close at 3,774.66.
