The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday gained 3.71 points to close at 3,168.66.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. gained 50 cents to $8 on volume of 150 shares.

Butterfield Bank was unchanged at $40.20 on volume of 690 shares.
