The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 40.57 points yesterday to close at 3,348.51. BF&M acquired 352,279 of its own shares at a price up $1.53 to close at $14.53.

Belco Holdings saw 89 shares trade hands at an unchanged price of $41.20. Butterfield Bank was the only other stock to record movement with investors trading 520 shares and pushing up the price 50 cents to $42.
