BSX posts 0.06 percent gain

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange was relatively static yesterday despite heavy volume and trading in several companies. Although nearly $1.92 million worth of stock changed hands, the index gained just 1.57 points, or 0.06 percent, to close at 2,590.46.
Three quarters of trading was in Bank of Butterfield shares, which remained at $33.25.
Bermuda Commercial Bank shares gained a quarter point to $7, while Masters rose a dollar to close at $8.
BF&M shares traded down 20 cents at $10.55, although preferred shares in the company rose five cents to $12.05.
Argus Insurance Company and KeyTech also traded, but remained at $22.55 and $43, respectively.
