The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday fell 27.62 points to close at 3,152.50.

Butterfield Bank saw its share price fall 50 cents to $40 on trading of 15,796 shares.

Bermuda Commercial Bank investors bought and sold 2,000 shares but there was no price movement on the shares ($7.50).

Meanwhile, there was a flurry of activity in the utilities sector with 4,400 Belco shares changing hands while falling off five cents in price to $42 and KeyTech - the parent company of BTC, Logic and Mobility - saw trading of 2,600 shares. Investors pushed down the telecoms share price by 25 cents to $10.50.
