The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 12.23 points yesterday to close at 4,417.83.

On a quiet day of trading Butterfield Bank fell 25 cents to close at $57.25 as investors traded in 5,040 shares.

While no other issues changed price, BF&M traded in 700 shares to close unchanged at $18.75.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $301,800 and the overall volume of shares was 5,740 shares.
