The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday slipped down 2.90 points, or 0.08 percent, as Bank of Butterfield shares remained unchanged at $45.

The BSX had a quiet day as Kentucky Fried Chicken Bermuda Ltd traded in 10,000 shares to close at $5.50 a decline of 50 cents. Belco Ltd. also fell by 25 cents to close at $39.715 on volume of 125 shares.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $59,975.00 and the overall volume of shares was 10,125 to close at 3,736.51.
