The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index closed virtually unmoved after a quiet trading day yesterday.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Bermuda Ltd. was the only issue to advance, as it gained 25 cents (4.3 percent) to close the day on $6, as 100 of its shares traded. In doing so, it bounced back from Tuesday, when it had lost 25 cents.

The main trading activity centred on Bermuda Press Holdings Ltd., which closed unchanged on $14.50, as 1,000 of its shares changed hands.

Ten shares of both Butterfield Bank Ltd. and KeyTech Ltd. were sold, as both issues closed unchanged, at $56.75 and $15.50 respectively.

The Index closed up by 0.28 of a point (0.01 percent) at 4,865.03. Volume of shares traded was 1,120 and turnover was $15,825.
