The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 48.699 points last week to close at 3,890.12.

The only gain last week was Butterfield Bank gaining 25 cents to close at $46.55 as investors traded in 60.,34 shares.

Argus fell $1.50 on volume of 1,736 shares to close at $11.50, Bermuda Aviation Services lost one dollar to close at $7.00 and Bermuda Container Line declined 45 cents to close at $14.50 as investors traded in 100 shares.

The biggest decline on the Exchange saw Stevedoring decline $2.75 to close at $6.25 as 300 shares changed hands, while LOM traded in 20,000 shares to remain unchanged at $3.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX last week was $2,900,041.90 and the overall volume of shares was 82,770.
